The House Outside steps decorated with flowers lead up to the wooden entrance door. The door opens into the ingresso or small living area; which is furnished with easy chairs. From the ingresso you pass to the kitchen with its family sized kitchen table over which many an excursion into the surrounding area has been planned.Cooking is done on a modern gas/electric cooker. The kitchen also contains a fridge, double bowl sink unit and a variety of cupboards. A full range of cooking equipment is provided to cater for both English and Italian cooks. There is also a radio/cassette/CD player, a selection of CDs and cassettes are provided. Under the stairs you will find the normal prerequisites for modern living i.e. vacuum cleaner, iron, ironing board, clothes dryer, etc. Off the kitchen is the bathroom equipped with a walk in power shower, wash hand basin, W.C and bidet. A staircase leads off the kitchen to the upper floor; which comprises a lounge area and two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a large double bed, chest of drawers and wall clothes hanger. The second bedroom has two large single beds, chest of drawers, tallboy, and bedside cabinets. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans to provide cool air on hot summer nights. The lounge area has two settees, a bookcase with a selection of books to suit most tastes, appropriate occasional furniture a mini hi fi, television, video & DVD player. Cooling air is provided by another ceiling fan. At the side of the property there is a wooden door that gives access to the cantina. In the cantina is the workshop storage area with additional garden chairs, cushions, barbecue equipment and the laundry room. In the laundry room there is a sink and automatic washing machine. The Garden The garden, which is accessed via a small path at the side of
the property, has a patio area equipped with table and chairs
for dining alfresco. |
